I have always used Monari Federzoni's Balsamic vinegar, but I haven't tried their other vinegars.

Great post today, Anne.

I only started using red wine vinegar about 4 years ago for a trout salad recipe I was given and at that time I bought "Great Value" Red wine vinegar from Walmart. This year I was buying a bottle to give to a friend for a Cole slaw recipe I had given her. I was at a different store and bought "Pompeian" brand. I have to say I just didn't like that brand so I am still using "Great Value" from Walmart. I guess my taste buds are not very flexible! I use it now mainly in coleslaw; I prefer that to mayo although sometimes I add a small amount of mayo.

Good tip about Great Value, Deborah. House brands are often great value!
