Anne, Do I have a fabulous show to share with you... Amazon Prime free... It All Begins With A Song. What a tribute to our wonderful city. And an amazing new little restaurant near me... Roze Pony next to You're Invited. It was named for a thoroughbred race horse raised on Belle Meade Mansion. Would love to treat you to my favorite cocktail of theirs... Erroneous Monk... but served martini-style. Let me know if we can connect.
Dear Anne, I love love love Nashville but am living in Chicago. Yes, you do all have an accent of sorts. It is charming and not as twangy as some places but to us from the North, it is there and it is delightful. There are so many great places in Nashville including #Pucketts that you could do a little Nashville story every week or so. I am sure everyone would love it. Like #Loveless Cafe. Give us the background. And more Nashville recipes. We want more because you always make it sound so inviting... Jacqueline Gillam Fairchild, teatimewithhermajesty.com
Love this post! It’s all the credits you listed that keep our city growing by the tens of thousands every year. However, we still seem to maintain a homey, small town vibe. A cousin from New England visited a few years ago, and we took her on a tour of the city. She was astonished when, in traffic, a cabby gave us the “right of way!” Yep, that’s our Nashville!
Saw Nichole while running in a local park in July’s heat. She was also running, but fast, and her skin was covered from head to toe. No wonder she maintains her youthful look!
It's has not been uncommon in Oklahoma to see country stars: Toby, Blake, Reba, Garth and a lot more. I have seen Toby a number of times at football games, and laughed and chatted with him at a golf course once, and he was very nice, but I didn't recognize him, and my friends at the table were horrified that I didn't ask for his autograph. But I wouldn't have done that anyway. And football players and coaches are a dime a dozen in Central Oklahoma!
